Event Classes:
50 km Solo musher - single discipline (rig, scooter, bike, or cannicross) - with dog team consistent through the event.
⭐Note: Dogs may be dropped during the event but not picked up. Ie if a team drops a dog it cannot pick up different dog to replace it, or return a droppped dog to a team.
50 km Solo musher - multi discipline (scooter, bike, canni) - a musher may run a team of dogs across disciplines. Any single dog can be used for multiple disciplines, or within the team or the musher may have different dgos for ech disciplne.
⭐Note: Entrants who choose to scooter may run 1 or 2 dogs for that leg. Bike and cannicross will be 1 dog ONLY.
50 km Relay - multi discipline - a team of 2 - 5 mushers will participate using their preferred discipline of scooter, bike and cannicross, with a total team distance of 50km.
⭐Note: There is a limit of 2 bike legs per team, and 2 scooter legs per team. There is no limit on cannicross legs per team. There is no limit on the km's completed by a team member, but they must complete full 10km or 20km loops.
⭐⭐Note: Each member of a team must complete an entry form and sign the waiver

🗓 Entries close: Sunday 31st August 2025 Changes to entries can be made up until Friday the 5th of September, at 6pm.
⭐Note: ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ENTRY is contingent on proof of adequate training.
Event Format:
The event course will consist of a 20km loop and a 10km loop to be completed in any combination to accumulate 50km. Course may be subject to change due to weather or track conditions.
Entrants will start in waves of:
Solo > 2 wheels (rigs)
Solo 2 wheels (scooter & bike)
Solo 0 wheels(cani)
Team relay
⭐Note: The event will NOT be using 'beeps' on the start line to help reduce dogs associating with sprint events.
There will be a minimum rest period required of 2 hours over the duration of the event for solo wheeled participants.
There is no minimum rest period for cannicross participants but dogs must be vet checked on the completion of each loop, and can be given a mandated rest period by the race vet.
For team relay participants rest periods may be deemed to be on non-active legs. Dogs participating in mulitple relay loops must be vet checked on the completion of each loop, and can be given a mandated rest period by the race vet.
Mandatory Equipment:
Ensure your gear is race-ready and safe. Participants must leave the event hub for each loop with:
Rig, scooter, bike, or belt (depending on your discipline)
Sound lines
Effective brakes
Undamaged wheels
Functional light, plus a spare light, preferably with an additional spare battery
Line cutters
Water bowls sufficient to water team on trail
Fully charged mobile phone & UHF Radio (TBA)
Event Schedule:
📍 Driver Check in: Saturday 6th September 12:00 noon until to 2:00pm
At check-in, each solo entrant or team will be provided with their race pack, including their official race number.
All drivers or their representative must also report to the veterinary check table so pre-race veterinary examinations can be arranged.
This will be in order of check-in.
📍 Veterinary Examinations: Saturday 6th September 12:00 noon until 3:00pm
All dogs must be available for physical examinations before the start of the race.
Minimum dog age for this event is 18 months.
Each dog must be identified by the dog's name legibly printed on or attached to the collar.
At the pre-race veterinary examination, any dog which, in the opinion of the Chief Veterinarian, should not run the race, shall not run the race.
All dogs, whether racing or not, must be vaccinated to a minimum of C3. Bring vaccination certificates or compliant titre tests. Spot checks will be conducted as per AFSS rules.

🟢Event Starts: Saturday 6th September at 6:00pm.
🛑Event Finishes: Sunday 7th September at 6:00am.
🏆 Presentation: to be held shortly after racing concludes on Sunday.
On-Site Facilities:
☕ 🚻 Limited campsite facilities: Drop toilet and portaloos will be provided
💧 Water: BYO water for yourself and your dogs
🔥 Fires: Fires must be contianed in drums or firepits only
♻ Leave no trace: Clean up after your dogs to help preserve future access
⭐Please note that there is no on-site power.
